Feng Shui + Law of Attraction = Magic

Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese art and science of placement. Feng Shui is concerned with creating harmony in your living and working spaces by balancing yin and yang energies and the energies of the five elements. Feng Shui works because the Chinese understood that everything has “chi” or energy. To create harmony, the Chinese learned, over thousands of years, how to read these unique energies and harmonize them to make one’s space, personal energy, and life healthier, happier, stronger, and more inspired. In the last few decades, Feng Shui has gained mass popularity in the Western world, along with what we call the Law of Attraction.

The Law of Attraction was popularized in the book, The Secret, and continued to deliver its message when it was adapted into a feature film. The Law of Attraction is concerned with the awareness that thoughts are energy and that “thought energy” can be used to make your life healthier and happier. The Law of Attraction and Feng Shui go hand-in-hand. For instance, the Law of Attraction states that like energy attracts like energy; the typical application of the Law of Attraction is with positive thinking, the visualization of achieved goals, stating affirmations, and other positive mindsets. With these positive thoughts, other positive things are drawn into your life.

Although it would seem Feng Shui and the Law of Attraction would be seen as natural partners, the other is often overlooked by Feng Shui and Law of Attraction enthusiasts. Interestingly, one of the most popular Law of Attraction tools is making a “vision board,” or a collage of pictures showing your dreams, goals, or other ambitions for your future. Once the board is created, you then place this vision board in a prominent spot where you will see it constantly throughout the day, thus “subliminally” adjusting your thoughts and energy. This is exactly the same philosophy as using Feng Shui to help you accomplish your goals.

If, for example, you would like to improve your love life, you can use the tools of the Law of Attraction to help manifest what you desire. You can also use the tools of Feng Shui, like the bagua map, the five elements, and what are commonly called “Feng Shui cures” to shift the energy expressed by your home’s colors, shapes, textures, furniture, level of clutter, placement of objects, and so on. In this way, your living environment can be a living, walk-in “vision board.” Your entire living and working space can serve as a visual affirmation of your desires.

Combining the energies of Feng Shui and the Law of Attraction, you can program the energy of your environment. With these two complementary philosophies together, you can transform your personal energy as well as the energy of your living space to send a highly powerful, uniform message to the universe. Over time as you continue to apply Feng Shui principles to your living space and Law of Attraction principles to your personal life, the universe will respond powerfully with the “like energy” you are seeking.

You can also kick your manifestation skills up a notch by following the natural rhythm created by the timing of the new and full moons. If you are not already part of the Luna Feng Shui community, consider joining to learn all you need to know to start living a life you’ll love living!
